Man jailed after crime spree
A man has been convicted of 14 shop thefts in the Lincoln area.
Paul Bradley, 41 of no fixed address, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 9 when he pleaded guilty to all counts. He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison.
Bradley targeted a number of shops in the Lincoln area, including Bracebridge Heath, stealing alcohol, towels and meats.
Community Beat Manager Sergeant Alex Taylor said: “Bradley is a prolific offender who has been convicted of shop thefts ranging from the south of Lincoln to North Kesteven.
"Retail crime is a force priority as shop staff should be able to come to work without fear of being witness to or victims of crime and anti-social behaviour.
"We also recognise the wider impact on our local communities that shop theft has in terms of building their confidence in policing. We will take action against those who seek to disrupt the lives of hard-working members of the public.
"This case also demonstrated excellent joint working between Neighbourhood Policing Teams and Response officers."
