Huddersfield Town v Lincoln City - preview
There’s another tough test on the road awaiting the Imps when they visit the John Smith’s Stadium tomorrow.
Michael Duff’s side have recently been piling on the pressure at the top of League One putting together a winning streak in pursuit of an immediate return to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Terriers are currently in fourth place, eight points ahead of City in ninth position and will be gunning for their fifth straight league win and their eighth at home in all competitions.
While Duff’s men have turned their fortunes around after a poor start to the season the Imps are experiencing the opposite fate – after beginning the campaign well they have suffered a dip in form beginning with back-to-back draws before three defeats on the bounce in recent weeks.
The losing streak ended with a goalless draw against Charlton Athletic last weekend followed by 1-0 midweek win against Morecambe in the Vertu EFL Trophy, which head coach Michael Skubala will want to build on to reinvigorate City’s play off chances.
