Bogus canvasser imitating St Barnabas nurse
St Barnabas Hospice is warning residents of a con-artist working door-to-door impersonating one of the charity’s nurses.
St Barnabas said it had been made aware the bogus nurse is asking residents to set up a direct debit to buy raffle tickets.
“This individual is not affiliated with St Barnabas Hospice. We take this matter very seriously and are working closely with the authorities to address it, said a spokesperson.

St Barnabas currently has two official door-to-door canvassers promoting its lottery only, whose names and photographs can be found on its website: https://stbarnabashospice.co.uk/lottery/.
All wear St Barnabas branded lanyards with official photo ID and canvas during daytime working hours.
