Something for the Weekend – Finale fire alarm leads to musical treat

Opening night for LAODS’ production of CATS was on fire - just as the performance reached its finale a fire alarm interrupted the show at Lincoln Arts Centre.

But the cast of the Andrew Lloyd Webber show didn’t miss a beat as can be seen in the video above.

With true theatrical spirit the players delivered an impromptu a-cappella performance of The Addressing of Cats outside the venue while the audience awaited the all-clear.
