Explore a creative way of life
Mosaic artist and musician Rachael Audrey Clark-Harris (RACH) uses the creative process to explore trauma and mental health issues.
She will be sharing how healing is aided by practical creative expression at this month’s Art Talk organised by Open Art Lincs (OPAL) at St Nicholas Church Hall, Lincoln.
“Her work translates the lived experience into visual storytelling using broken materials as a metaphor for emotional and physical reconstruction,” explained Kevin Byron of OPAL.
Rachel is one of the Creatives in Residence at Lincoln’s New Barbican Hub and is developing ‘A Physical and Psychological Response to Scars’ – a body of work rooted in imperfection, recovery and the therapeutic power of making.
There are still some places left for the talk tomorrow at 7pm, admission is £5. Book at https://www.open-art-lincs.com/art-talks
