Dream opening spot for Hermione

As we countdown to two days of music at Lincoln Live JO RICHARDS is giving readers the lowdown on the performers who will be playing at the two venue-event over Saturday-Sunday, August 30-31.

Introducing…Hermione, a young singer from Grantham, who will be opening the Lincoln Live 2025 event in City Square on Saturday, August 30.

 “I used to dream at night about this moment. I’ve worked so hard for it! Now it’s my time to shine.” 

Hermione has been singing since she was seven and her expressive, soulful voice brings the stories of growing up to life.

 “I just love writing down my feelings, all of my songs have a personal meaning behind them.”  

She has used some creative ways to showcase her talents. Earlier this year, at an Alex Warren concert in Birmingham, she sang his single, ‘Ordinary,’ in the crowd and the video attracted an unbelievable two million views on TikTok.

Hermione had wondered if it was possible to make a career from performing, coming from a small town in Lincolnshire. She says: “That’s when I got exposed to Holly Humberstone, who’s a real inspiration - she completely reignited my passion for singing,” 

Now her ambitions are unstoppable. “I hope to see myself doing big tours and have people scream my name in the future. This is what I want to do…this is what I love.”
