Woman charged with attempted murder

Mia Mcilwee, 40, of Dixon Place, Dunholme has been charged with attempted murder after a man was discovered with a suspected stab wound at a property in the village.

Mcilwee was charged on April 2 and remanded to custody ahead of her next appearance at Lincoln Magistrates' Court today (Saturday).

Police are appealing for information surrounding the incident: “We are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the Dixon Place area between 7pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday (April 1) to come forward. Even small details could assist our investigation,” said a spokesperson.
