Witness appeal after pedestrian killed
Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a pedestrian died.
Investigators need anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch following the incident near Riseholme roundabout on the A15 road in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Officers attended the scene around 300m north of the roundabout at around 1am on May 5 after a white DAF truck collided with a pedestrian, a man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Part of the A15 up to the Riseholme roundabout was closed while emergency services attended, but the road re-opened at around 8am yesterday.
“As part of our investigation we are urging anyone who may have seen the collision, or who had dashcam footage, to contact us. For clarity, the What3Words location for this incident is trucks.across.transit,” said a police spokesperson.
