Three charged with Lincoln thefts
Three people have been charged in connection with a theft series in the Lincoln area.
Officers were called to a theft on Deacon Road in Lincoln on Monday before 9am and after a short chase two men and one woman were arrested. They appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court yesterday when they were charged with a series of offences.
Penny Carey, 31, of Addison Drive in Lincoln was charged with three counts of theft from a shop; aggravated vehicle taking and three counts of breaching of a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
Dean Millington, 46, of Newark Road in Lincoln was charged with four counts of theft from a shop; aggravated vehicle taking; driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence; using a motor vehicle without insurance; driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road/in a public place without due care and attention and making off without payment.
Billy Wheelin, 36, of no fixed address, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking; three counts of theft from a shop and three counts of breaching a CBO.
All three have been remanded into custody until their next court hearing.
