Teenager banned for driving at 125mph
An 18-year-old driver has been disqualified for driving at 125mph on the A46 near Lincoln
The driver was checked by officers driving his blue Audi S3 on the A46 at Thorpe on the Hill at 10.20pm on January 29 this year. The speed limit is 70mph.
PC Mark Solder, from the Roads Policing Team, said: "Travelling at 125mph is simply dangerous, aggravated by the driver having one years' experience behind the wheel.
"Hopefully, he reflects on this outcome and adjusts his driving standards in the future."
The young driver was disqualified from driving for four months and must pay a total of £516 in fines and costs.
