Reminder to download WOW Lincoln

Have you downloaded the new WOW Lincoln app yet?

There are over 5,000 events listed and more are going up every day.

Never again will you have to utter the words: “There’s nothing happening in Lincoln.”

WOW Lincoln, the new What’s On app for the city - WOW stands for What’s On Where – is live and ready to be downloaded by you, your family and friends.

It lists everything from theatre shows and gigs to kids’ activities and wellbeing events. Check it out for easter activities in the city and beyond.

WOW Lincoln has been created by the team behind Hello Lincoln in partnership with Ellmore Digital and City of Lincoln Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

“We had the idea to create the app, but it could not have been done without our partners - Dan Ellmore who had the technical know-how and the city council which invested in the app to support Lincoln’s Visitor Economy (VE),” said Editor Amanda McSorley.

“Where else can you find out about Russell Howard at the Engine Shed or Commuter Jazz at Southside along with church hall bingo or yoga sessions?

“WOW Lincoln will help everyone get the best out of our beautiful city.”

The city council has welcomed the app to complement the revitalised Visit Lincoln brand, which was launched to businesses yesterday – see yesterday’s News section.

“We’re totally committed to Visit Lincoln to support VE businesses and the city as a whole – the WOW Lincoln app is part of that commitment,” said Kate Ellis, Strategic Director, Major Developments.
