Police divers find body in search for Lyndan
Police divers have found the body of a man believed to be that of Lyndan Robins who has been missing from Washingborough since January.
The body was discovered in a watercourse by an underwater search unit on Friday, March 27, close to Five Mile Lane near Fiskerton.
The family of 28-year-old Lyndan has been made aware and there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances in connection with his death.
Lyndan, who was 6ft 6ins with short brown hair, went missing from his home after 6.50am on Tuesday, January 27, and police launched an extensive appeal for witnesses along with dash cam and CCTV footage, which was backed by his family’s social media campaign.
“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and ask that the family’s privacy be respected at this tragic time,” said a police spokesperson.
