Man in court on drugs charges

A man tracked by a drone in Lincoln has appeared before city magistrates (see Monday’s news),

Tomas Loureiro, 18, of no fixed address was charged with assault by beating, common assault, criminal damage to property and two offences of possession of a controlled drug of class B – ketamine and cannabis.

He pleaded guilty to criminal damage and drug possession but denied assault and was bailed with conditions. The case has been adjourned for Loureiro to appear back before the court on August 24.
