Lola ready to work as Police Dog

From tiny paws to a top sniffer – Lola became a fully qualified Drug, Cash and Firearms Search Dog after passing her licensing this week.

PD Lola joined Lincolnshire Police last May at just eight weeks old after showing real aptitude for her future career (see bottom picture).

Training harnesses a dog’s natural drive to play and sense of smell and takes around a year.

A force spokesman said: “From puppy training to operational dog, Lola has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone — and we think she’s earned a few extra treats tonight.

“Well done Lola… the real work starts now,”
