Exercise Cobra Warrior filled our skies – see the video

Aircraft from Canada, Italy, Germany and the United States were among those that joined British jets and support squadrons in Exercise Cobra Warrior 25-2 earlier this autumn.

The exercise was based at RAF Waddington and aircraft filled the skies over Lincoln for one of NATO’s largest multinational operations as more than a dozen allied squadrons gathered for three weeks of high-intensity training.

“Cobra Warrior is one of our Combat Air Collective Training events where we practice in the Joint space and alongside our allied partners, in defeating peer threats within a contested, degraded and operationally limited environment, at a time and place of our choosing,” explained Group Captain Ray Morley of the RAF.

The allied aircraft and personnel may have left but the RAF has shared this video to give those who did not keep vigil on the A15 outside Waddington a taste of the action.
