Drone helps track suspect
A police drone helped capture a suspect banned from entering within a 10-mile radius of Lincoln on Friday as part of a coordinated response by officers.
At around 6.30am officers were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Lincoln and moments later a man was seen fleeing towards an alleyway off Burton Road.
Police have released the video (above) to show how a drone was quickly deployed, capturing thermal and aerial footage as the suspect ran through gardens, scaled walls, and attempted to hide between and climb over garages.
Thanks to the rapid response and clear view from above, officers on the ground were able to track and detain the suspect within the hour.
An 18 -year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of actual bodily harm (ABH) and breach of bail conditions.
He remains in custody.
