Co-op’s new health hub hit by car
Lincolnshire Co-op’s Birchwood Health Hub should reopen today following its closure on Wednesday after the front of the building was hit by a car.
A Co-op spokesman said contractors were on site making the building safe last night and would be working to get the hub open as soon as possible.
The Co-op food store, which is next door, is unaffected and the Birchwood Health Centre Pharmacy will be open as normal.
The incident happened less than two weeks after the £890,000 hub opened its doors for the first time to offer local people a multi-purpose healthcare facility.
