City centre drug arrests

Six arrests were made by police during an operation to tackle drugs in Lincoln City Centre.

Officers from the Lincoln City Centre Team, Neighbourhood Policing Team, Intelligence Unit, Criminal Investigation Department and Response Investigation Team carried out the operation in Lincoln city centre last week.

The men, aged between 25 and 45, were detained for a range of serious offences as part of the targeted action.

  • A 25-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for robbery and theft. He was remanded into custody and will appear before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday  December 23, 2025.
  • A 26-year-old man was arrested for failing to stop and on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and carrying an offensive weapon. Officers recovered 20-30 wraps of Class A drugs. He has been released on conditional police bail.
  • A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and has been released under investigation.
  • A 39-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for burglary. 
  • A 44-year-old man was arrested after being recalled to prison.
  • A 45-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for burglary and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Officers recovered 20-30 wraps of Class A drugs. 

He has been released under investigation for the possession with intent to supply offence and released on conditional bail for the burglary offences.

Sergeant Steve Parker, from the Lincoln City Centre Team said: “This operation demonstrates our commitment to tackling drug-related crime and keeping our communities safe. We will continue to take robust action against those involved in the supply of illegal drugs.”
