Patients benefit from Nettleham GP refurb

A three-month refurbishment at Nettleham Medical Practice has improved facilities for patients and staff.

The building works have delivered seven fully refurbished consulting rooms, two additional consulting rooms and a modernised waiting area designed to improve both patient experience and clinical capacity.

Helen Lunn, Practice Manager at Nettleham Medical Practice added:  “We are absolutely delighted with the final appearance of the refurbished and additional consulting rooms, as well as the updated waiting area. These improvements will make a real difference to both patients and staff, and we are grateful for everyone’s patience while the work was carried out.”

The improvements were supported through developer contributions secured via local planning agreements, enabling investment in primary care infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing community.

NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board worked closely with partners, including West Lindsey District Council, to facilitate the scheme and ensure funding was used to deliver tangible improvements for local patients.

Caroline Goulding, Director of Strategic and Specialised Commissioning at NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board said: “This is a great example of how we are working with partners to invest in local GP services and ensure they are fit for the future. By using developer contributions in this way, we can directly support practices to expand their capacity and improve the environment for both patients and staff.”
