Driver safety in flood conditions - video

More rain is on the way according to the weather forecasts for the Lincoln area and safety experts are urging drivers to think about the risk of flooding before they get into their cars.

“As we head into winter, it's important to be prepared for potential flooding, especially while driving. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue has created some videos with practical advice on staying safe in flood conditions,” said CFS Road Safety Partnership Advocate John Hardy, who is featured in this video.
“If your journey is non-essential, the safest option is not to travel. Don’t put yourself at risk- stay safe.”
