Alison’s art talk
Woven into Lincolnshire is Alison Walling’s look at willow and its place in Lincolnshire heritage arts and crafts.
The talk at St Nicholas Church Hall on Newport, Lincoln, will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, October 28.
Alison runs Lincolnshire Willow and has been working with the natural material for nearly 30 years. As well as growing an acre of different willow varieties, she delivers courses around Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and undertakes large scale commissions for public projects and sculptures.
Alison believes working with willow is an enjoyable introduction to arts, crafts, sustainability, conservation and heritage.
Admission is £5, book at https://www.open-art-lincs.com/art-talks-oct-28th
