Veteran’s festive treat at RAF Waddington

Operation Christmas at RAF Waddington welcomed veterans to a tea party on the base.

The event was organised by station volunteers and young people from the Airplay Club who put together bingo, a quiz, raffle and the festive buffet. The RAF Benevolent Fund donated £500 to the party.

“The evening was filled with laughter, conversation and Christmas spirit - a lovely opportunity for our veterans to come together and enjoy each other’s company,” said a spokesperson.

“A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, the RAF Benevolent Fund and young people involved in making the night such a success. Their support and kindness truly made a difference.”
