New face in charge at RAF Waddington

It’s all change at the top at RAF Waddington as the base bid farewell its Station Commander Group Captain Dutch Holland.

He handed over the reins to Group Captain Leanne Warner and said: “It has been an incredible honour to serve as Station Commander at RAF Waddington. The professionalism, dedication, and spirit of every individual on this station has been truly inspiring, and I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together.

“My heartfelt thanks go to the entire Waddington team, service, civilian, and contractors, and also to our local community for their continued and unwavering support. I leave knowing that we are in the best possible hands, and I wish Group Captain Warner every success during her command of this wonderful Station. It has been a privilege to lead such an outstanding Team and I want to say thank you to you all.”

Group Captain Leanne Warner added: “I am absolutely delighted to take command of RAF Waddington, a station with such a proud history, vital operational role, and outstanding people. I look forward to building on the excellent work of Group Captain Holland and continuing to support the incredible personnel and families of RAF Waddington.

I’m excited for the challenges and opportunities ahead and am proud to lead this exceptional station into its next chapter.”
